The Olympics are everywhere and I am loving it. While the overly patriotic media coverage is a little grating at times, it is such fun to witness and cheer on elite athletes pushing the human body to the limit. Favourite moments so far include France winning the mens 4 x 100m swimming relay, the gutsy finishes at the women's marathon and of course the antics of Usain Bolt.

Obviously the Olympics are also having an influence on the high street and as I'm always in the mood for comfortable, functional, sports-inspired clothing, I'm welcoming this with open arms. Bomber jackets, caps, sneakers and sweatshirts, with a little gold bling to add to the mix, are guaranteed winners.
