Tom Tom necklace via UOProenza Schouler at La Garconne skirt and amazing bird embroidered sweater, vintage jumper from Cotton LoveOdette arrow cuffs, Wood Wood logo sweatshirt, Monki bag, Vagabond lace up boots, Topshop Boutiqe leather skirt.

I am always drawn to the same kinds of shapes and textures every Autumn -  chunky black leather boots, fluffy jumpers and slouchy college-style sweaters, leather or wool miniskirts, touches of light blue, gold, burgundy and burnt orange. I love this time of year so much, when the knitwear comes out but the coat can stay at home, when you can dress without worrying about being flustered or freezing, and when all the exciting new autumn/winter collections are flooding in and change is in the air. Of course I won't be spending $1500 on a sweater (seriously the embroidered birds are beautiful but really!?) but I'll be on the look out for similar tones, shapes and textures on ebay, in charity shops and from all the high street faves.
